"In my youth I listened to hip-hop and lots of experimental music: idm, drone, ambient, and other things. If we're talking about classical music, then I probably prefer Debussy, Satie, and Shnitke. On top of all that, I’ve always loved avant-garde jazz, too. Finally, when I was roughly twenty years old, I became fond of German and Detroit techno––together with Detroit house."

"I’ll let you in on a little secret: Moscow doesn't have its own, typical sound thus far. There are plenty of talented musicians here, but there’s no common style. With the help of my colleagues, I dream of creating a community in Moscow. I mean something similar to Bristol, Detroit, or Berlin. One day in the future, somebody would say: Oh, that's the Moscow sound!"
